Renault Brings Facebook Likes to Auto Show
European car company Renault used Facebook Connect and RFID (radio-frequency identification) to make the cars on display at the Amsterdam auto show "Like"-able. Attendees could link their Facebook accounts to conference badges at special kiosks and then swipe the badge at stations next to each car. The "Like" was then sent to the attendee’s Facebook wall so they could discuss the cars with their friends on the social network.
